I haven't quite figured out how to put into words what I am feeling right now. Every single student in our TA, even those who knew they would be gone today, and those who didn't want to be on stage, participated in some shape or form, with the lip sync. Twenty kids came together as a team and created something AWESOME. I couldn't be more proud. People got over their fears and jitters, got up on stage, and performed something they created, for the entire middle school! They worked so hard on this project and it was an absolute blast to see all of their efforts come together for one great performance. Everyone who had a part in this should be so proud! I got to see students come out of their shells, step into leadership roles, and perform in ways I couldn't have imagined them to. The best part was when they did choose to step out of their comfort zone, and started to take those risks, they became a little bit more confident in their own skin, grew a ton (even if they don't see it), and they did it all together as a group. How amazing is that? What a great experience for them, and for me! I really have nothing else to say other than this. I am so fortunate to work with your kiddos and I. AM. SO. PROUD!!! **Our video is linked below.
