Announcements:*Report cards went home today. Today was an exciting day. Students read with their Kindergarten buddies, for the first time. Every two weeks our TA will head down to Mrs. Tewksbury's Kindergarten class, and will spend time reading to and listening to them read. We spent time in the library picking out picture books yesterday, and today the sixth graders read those books to their buddies. The kindergarten students even got to read some of their books to the 6th graders! It was so fun to see your students in a different light. They were energetic, kind, and very patient with their new friends. They answered questions, helped with reading, and reminded them to meet the reading buddy expectations. It was fun to see your students be great role models for these younger kiddos. I think this will be a new biweekly activity that your students will really enjoy. Enjoy the photos.
