I feel like this week I have spent more time with your children, than I have all year. I think it's because not only did we have our weekly lunch date on Thursday, but this morning instead of dancing or doing movement, we played board games (I got to play too!) and then we continued the games into our pizza party where some kids even stayed in for recess to play. Let me tell you, I absolutely loved it. Not only did I get to connect with more kids, but I got to see them in a different way than I normally do. Our normal times together involve work, and expectations, a little bit of fun, and more work! But, over the course of the past two days, I got to just enjoy being with your kids in a non-educational setting. Here are some things I learned about them: 1. They handle unstructured play time very well. Our room was calm, quiet, and relaxing. Several teachers walked in and said "Wow! This is so nice." I really love learning about them, and I'm truly enjoying them as individuals as well as a whole group. They are positive, and kind, and I'm super proud to call them my kids. I hope you share this post with your children. I hope you also enjoy the pictures below (excuse the blurriness) and have a great weekend.

Thanks Jess, so great to hear how they have grown and that you got to enjoy them in a different setting.
